60 days in England!

I have now lived in England for 2 months, and I remain so thankful that God has sent me here. I've published an updated e-news for those who have signed up.  If you didn't receive the newsletter, simply click here to read about what has been happening in the month of May.

My house - decorated for the Queen!
I am settling into my new surroundings, new house, new ministry, and getting to know some wonderful people here in England. The college is ending the school year soon, with graduation being held on June 23rd. I can't wait for this special event!  Then it won't be long until we begin new academic year and I have the privilege of walking with these students in their ministerial training.

There are currently 120 students in the Bachelor's degree program and 300 in the Master's program. There are hundreds of others in the distance education program of the college. During the coming graduation ceremonies, 90 students will receive degrees and continue in or begin full-time ministry. It has been a joy to help several of the graduating students look for ministry positions, set-up interviews with pastors, and learn about the various ministry opportunities available in England, Scotland and Wales.

The goal of ministerial training is to prepare the student academically, spiritually, practically, and emotionally, so that they become the person God needs in His work. Another name for this training is discipleship. The faculty & staff of the college are preparing the next generation of leaders that will strive to make a difference in the United Kingdom and God's Kingdom!  Thanks for praying for the students of Mattersey Hall Christian College!

Following are some pictures of my ministry surroundings!  Enjoy!
