Permanent

Our Easter holidays are almost complete and we will be back to the classrooms and normal schedule at CTS on May 2. I spent our Student Ministry Week helping my friend Dana with her three-month old twins while her husband, CTS music director, was away for a ministry trip. We had a fun week and my heart and prayers go out to those with young twins! What a handful, but also a double blessing. If I look a little bleary eyed in the photo (yes...that's me feeding TWO babies at one time!) - suffice it to say I didn't get a lot of sleep that week!

Many of you know that several years ago (in 2002) I had many problems with my visa for living in Belgium. Long story short, it took 2 years to renew my ID card, involved a legal process, and me living for a few months with fear that the police might come and escort me out of the country. Well...those days are over! On 13 April I received word that my ID card was renewed and I have received PERMANENT & UNRESTRICTED status, which means that I will only have to walk in and renew my ID each year, but do not need to make application to do so, as this has already been granted. What an amazing blessing! Several of my colleagues have recieved the same status, so we are thankful that God is in control of our staying here in Belgium.

And if you are still praying for my computer...I hope to hear from the technician today who told me "shouldn't be a problem to recover your data." I pray he is right, and I'll let you know what I hear! Thanks for praying.
