The Last Class

Today I had my last Youth Ministries class for this academic year. My students....AnneMarie from Finland and Arvin from the Philippines. I'll be reading their papers later this week and look forward to their viewpoint of starting Youth Ministries in their particular cultural context. AnneMarie is doing her research on youth/children's ministry in Finland and Arvin's work deals with Third Culture Kids - Filipino youth that have been raised in Brussels.
I've learned much from them this semester, and am excited about their coming graduation and movement into the world of ministry. Both are third year students and will graduate in June. Glad I could have a small part in their preparation for ministry. Thanks for your prayers for them. My next class will take place in October 2006!
