August 16th has come and gone. Is it a delay? I say "no way". God is in control and knows when I need to leave. I've been able to complete my itineration services, spend time with family, and now am busy packing and raising the remainder of my finances. I lack about $750 in monthly pledges and trust God to bring the rest in so that I can leave by the first week of September.Had a wonderful time with my family this past weekend. (Nice picture, eh? That's me in the top middle.) They all came to my parents home. We cooked out, rode 4-wheelers, played games, laughed a lot, and it was great! Probably the last time we'll all be together until Christmas 2006. It's wild to think how much the kids will grow in that amount of time. The oldest nephew will become a teenager. The youngest will start kindergarten. Wow! But I'm thankful that my family let's me go and do what God has asked me to do. Is it easey to leave all them? No, but it's what I must do...and I'm glad that they understand.
More later....
