My birthday is coming up...but you have to guess the age. Let's just hope I can stay as young as my parents. Here's a recent photo of my dad out with his grandsons at the lake. (Yes...that's my 61 yr-old father dangling on a roap over the water!)
And for good measure, here are all of the nieces & nephews at a Labor Day get together. Living overseas has some disadvantages - like missing family. But aren't they a good looking group! These are the people that call me "Aunt Shannon."
Thanks for your prayers for me as we begin a new school year in just a couple of weeks. Pray that God will give me the wisdom to lead our Student Life areas of the seminary. Pray also for my course in Spiritual Leadership Development.
Will you also pray for the church plant I am a part of - ANTIA (All Nations Together in Antwerp). We are launching a 40 Days of Purpose Campaign in October and need the Lord's guidance & wisdom for this outreach. Pray that pre-christians will come to know the Lord as a result, and that this fellowship will be established to reach the city of Antwerp, Belgium, for Christ.
