When you were in school, didn't you think that teachers had 3 months of well-deserved holiday each year? I know I did. Being at CTS has helped me to see that this is definitely not true. It's is true that the pace is different, and dress is more casual, but the work continues.
Since graduation, CTS has already hosted one conference (focused on reaching culturally diverse communities in Europe), and plans for a few more in the months to come. Students for Christ, Europe, will also return for their annual College of Student Ministry in August, drawing more than 120 students and campus missionaries. CTS also has the privilege to host Every Home for Christ's European conference this summer, as well as a youth group from a Brussels Chinese Church. We hold it a privilege to work together with organizations and churches from around the world.
We are pleased to welcome three work teams from the USA this summer. They are helping to remodel a house that will be used for additional men's dorms space for our growing student population.
All this to say...schools do not close for the summer...in fact, with course planning, hosting groups, and preparation for the new school year (which began immediately after graduation), I can honestly say that we don't have time to close!
Thanks again for your continued prayers for us...for wisdom, guidance, strength, finances, personnel, and all the other things necessary to have a school that trains people from around the globe to fulfill the call of God and reach a lost world with the Gospel!
