Hit the ground running...

Since my arrival in Belgium on September 12, this is exactly what I have done...run! Just 5 days after arriving at Continental Theological Seminary, two teams from the US came to assist with practical ministry at the school. These 42 individuals did amazing work on our campus - cleaning, painting, plumbing, construction, landscaping, etc., and helped us prepare the campus for students to arrive. It was an extremely busy week for us and them, but it proved to be so beneficial to everyone.

Today is registration day for our students. Classes begin on Wednesday, 28 September. My course in Youth Ministry begins on Thursday. Thanks for your prayers as we train these students for ministry.

Special thanks to those who gave birthday greetings to me last week. I had a great day - spent it in Paris with members of the team from New Jersey. Definitely a birthday I won't soon forget...or will I...I am getting older, you know!
