Rainbows

I was travelling to McGehee, Monticello, and Crossett (Arkansas) this weekend for missions services. As I was driving, I was praying about my fundraising efforts and quite honestly, feeling a bit discouraged. Then I came upon a church sign that said two simple words "God Knows". It was as if God was indeed speaking directly to me that He understood my circumstances. About 5 minutes later, I looked up into the sky and caught the slightest glimpse of a rainbow. The rainbow began to expand in the sky and before long, it was completely visible. God once again assured me that He does know where I am at, what my circumstances are, and His promise to provide for me in every way when I gave my heart and entire life to Him, are still true today. Before long, the rainbow disappeared, however, God reminded me that His promises never disappear. We may not always see them, or understand when things don't quite go the way we think they should, but God is in control.

So today, my faith has increased. Since that rainbow, God has proven his promises and more funds have come in for my monthly support - the very thing I was praying about. God DOES know...and sometimes He gives us another rainbow and another reassurance of His never-failing promises.

For those of you keeping up-to-date on my fundraising progress, I've raised 77% of my budget and lack $1500 per month in pledges. Keep praying! Thanks!
